It seems that the old phrase “spacing out” isn’t just for blondes anymore, so says this here blonde. Spacing out allows us to float above, “hovering” over our bodies. Constant use of our gadgets, distractions, difficulty concentrating, being an “idea” person, and so many other tendencies all allow us not to fully launch our beings down into our bodies, so that we’re not really present. There are – still surprising to me – apparently a lot of causes that makes us not want to be in our bodies. Having trauma in the lower part of the body, feeling life is too much, depression, feeling unworthy of being able to really take care of one’s self & one’s family, feeling unsafe in one’s body or on planet earth around others – see! There’s so many causes that I’ve uncovered over the years of helping clients clear whatever is in the way of creating their best life ever. The result, though – a host of check out behaviors that do not allow one to create a life they desire. What else is possible?
